Few subjects are the source of more distinct division in the world today than Zionism. While sometimes described as a "modern" "movement", Jews have maintained a presence in their land since the days of Moses, and ever since God gave the land to the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, as an everlasting possession, through an everlasting covenant. Christian Zionism is also sometimes described as a modern "movement", even though Christians anticipated through Bible prophecy that Jews would be restored to their land, centuries before that restoration ever began to take place. Daniel's prophecies of the restoration of their rule over Israel in 1948 and then Jerusalem in 1967, can even be confirmed mathematically right to the year, through two parallel problems that span 2500 years.

Yet some anti-zionists that might otherwise appear to be upright citizens, for some reason don't seem to be embarrassed by the company they find themselves in, or their support of Islamic Jihad.

The term "Zion" occurs 152 times in the King James Bible.

There are only two sides in conflict. The devastating and desolating result of Islamization can be just as easily observed in Islamic countries today, as Sir Winston Churchill discerned over a century ago, when the restoration of Jews to their land had only been under way for most of a century. Stunningly prophetic words as we see what is happening in the wake of the secularization, of what is today a "post-Christian" Europe, since that was written. When the things of the Spirit of God are removed, the vacuum that results will always be filled with something else as evidenced through the historical genocide of communist and Islamic examples, because neither ideology can stand the light of truth.

The freedom, liberty and right to self-determination of the democracy of the Israeli Jewish State protects their citizens rights to exercise the free will that the Lord gives us, while respecting our neighbor's right to do the same. It's up to the individual to choose.
